Toyota India has finally unveiled pricing for the Urban Cruiser Hyryder although, it is only for the top-4 variants, none of which are 4WD. For the uninitiated, the 4WD variant is only available with a manual transmission at the top line V-Mild Hybrid. We have the pricing available only for 3 strong hybrid or fully hybrid variants and one mild hybrid variant. Here’s the detaile breakdown of the pricing:

When compared to the rivals, the Urban Cruiser Hyryder appears to be very appropriately priced especially considering the mileage due to its hybrid technology. Couple that with the intelligent new eCVT gearbox at the top of the line trim and you get a very exciting and alluring deal that is hard to miss. It is unclear as to why Toyota decided to offer the AWD only with the Manual Transmission options but it sure is a welcome feature nevertheless. Owing to Toyota’s recent success and investment, the Hyryder looks all set to disrupt the market. In fact, the Hyryder makes the Harrier look dated as the Harrier now remains one of the backbenchers of the segment with the smallest infotainment, no 4×4 on a Safari like body style and a rather expensive price tag for it.
