The Tata Sierra is REBORN literally! – Creta, Seltos rival unveiled

Tata Motors have taken the wraps of the Tata Sierra REBORN. This will be Tata’s offering in the mid-size SUV segment. The car will rival the Hyundai Creta and the Kia Seltos and sits below the Harrier but, above the Tata Nexon in their product lineup.

As for the mechanical details of the Tata Sierra SUV, they are kept under wraps as of now. Although, we expect it to share its power-train lineup with both, the recently updated Nexon and the Harrier. Like the Seltos, it will be offered with multiple engine options like the 1.2-liter petrol and 1.5-liter diesel from the Nexon along with the 170HP Kryotec engine from the 2020 Harrier. A pure-electric variant will also be in the offering and you can expect multiple transmission types ranging from a manual to the Nexon’s Hypr-drive and also the updated Harrier’s torque converter 6-speed unit.
