Kia offers 30 day trial offer on Carnival! Dissatisfied customers will get their money back.

“30-day free trial offer. If you don’t like it, we will take it back”. No, we’re not talking about JioFiber.

Kia India has recently introduced a new offer called the ‘Satisfaction Guarantee Scheme’ for Carnival customers. As part of the scheme, private owners can return the vehicle if they are not satisfied with it.

The South Korean manufacturer informed under this offer, it will take back the vehicle if the customer is not happy with it, within the first 30 days of its purchase. The company will return 95% of the ex-showroom cost and overhead costs incurred for the registration and finances of the vehicle. The offer is valid on all variants of the Carnival. (Well exactly similar to the JioFiber offer, other than the hefty price difference)

Kia has a few term and conditions tough. To begin with, only those Carnivals will be eligible for this scheme, which have not clocked more than 1,500 km from the date of purchase. The vehicle should be completely free of damage, failures and pending claims. Owners who financed their vehicles will require to submit a NOC from the financer. The owner’s agreement for the transfer of the vehicle including all documentation & charges should be in the name of a person.

The Carnival MPV was launched in India at the 2020 Auto Expo, and is currently on sale in the price bracket of Rs 24.95 lakh to Rs 33.95 lakh. It is available in 3 variants – Premium, Prestige and Limousine that comes in 7-seat, 8-seat and 9-seat configurations. The 7-seater version of the Kia Carnival gets the standard captain seats for the middle row and the optional ‘Luxury VIP’ seats with individual leg rest. While the 8-seater model comes with four captain seats, the 9-seater version has 6 captain seats.

The MPV is powered by a 2.2-litre 4-cylinder turbocharged diesel engine that produces 200bhp of power and 440Nm of torque. It is paired with an 8-speed automatic gearbox.

On the inside, the Carnival comes with a long list of luxurious features including a three-zone climate control system, electric sliding doors, automatic LED projector headlamps, a dual-panel sunroof, wireless charging, powered front seats. On the dashboard, it has an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment that comes with connected car technology. The top-end Limousine variant also gets standard 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment screens for the second row. Other notable kit offered on the fully loaded model include Nappa leather upholstery, connected car tech and a powered and ventilated driver seat.

Kia says it has retailed over 6,200 units of the Carnival in India in its first year with the fully-loaded Limousine variant accounting for about 60 percent of the total sales. After its huge success, multiple reports have claimed that the South Korean automaker is also testing a smaller MPV, that will be introduced in the Indian market as a budget offering. Kia has also announced that it will enter an all-new segment in India sometime early next year. Currently, KIA India’s three-vehicle lineup includes the updated versions of Seltos and Sonet alongside the Carnival.
