A first look at the official BMW i4 concept! Launch on 3rd March 2020

The BMW Group will unveil its first pure-electric Gran Coupe on March 3rd, 2020 at the Geneva Motor Show. The highly anticipated BMW Concept i4 heralds a new era in “Sheer Driving Pleasure.” It will supposedly provide “a whole new take on the dynamic excellence for which BMW is renowned.”

As the name suggests, the car will be positioned in the same bracket as the 3-series but, it will be a gran-coupe! This means that the design will be sleeker with a sloping roof but, practicality of a 4-seater saloon. And of course, being an “i” model, it will be an electric vehicle. Not many details are available for the car but, spy shots and the teaser images show that the design will be signature BMW. The massive vertical grille which was spotted (and hated) in a pre-production car could also make it’s appearance.

The BMW Concept i4 brings electrification to the core of the BMW brand,” says Adrian van Hooydonk, Senior Vice President BMW Group Design. “The design is dynamic, clean and elegant. In short: a perfect BMW that happens to be zero emission.”
