Mahindra XUV700 infotainment unit spied!
Thanks to the peeps at rushlane.com
Well, it’s a new day, and it’s another chance for us to look closely at the spy shots of the upcoming Mahindra XUV700 which, according to the latest reports, is slated for an August-September 2021 launch. The new spy shots uploaded by rushlane.com, gives us another sneak peek at the cabin of the XUV700.
The pictures confirm that the all-new XUV700 will have a new infotainment unit with new software, too. The unit is similar to the upcoming new-gen Scorpio but is bigger. There will also be an all-digital instrument cluster that happens to store a lot of useful information. Maybe it’s just me, but the instrument cluster seems to be more like an Audi’s?
Anyhoo, apart from the picture, there is a YT video via Rushlane’s YT channel as well. Check this out!
We can observe that there will be chrome surrounding on the AC vents, knurled knobs on the dashboard and center console, a dual tone scheme as well as a conventional spring-loaded handbrake (IDK why… we’d like them on tuner cars not SUV’s). The features on the XUV700 are expected to be plenty, including the likes of a panoramic sunroof, an HUD, and ADAS among others. As you can probably see in the video above, there is video playback support in the infotainment screen.
The soon-to-be-revealed seven-seater from Mahindra is expected to boast a 2.0L mHawk turbo-diesel and a 2.0L mStallion turbo-petrol motors which will come mated to either a 6-speed MT or a 6-speed TC. The premium version of the XUV500 will rival the likes of the Tata Safari, MG Hector Plus, and the upcoming Hyundai Alcazar. More as we know it.
