Mahindra reveals all the available XUV700 variants at launch

There will be 8 main variants available, all of which have some sub-variants as well combining to a total of around 34 variants.

Mahindra has revealed all the possible available variants for its upcoming XUV700 SUV, and they sure look promising! Here’s all the variants.

There will be 8 main variants, further divided into 5-seater and 7-seater variants (with a few exceptions), and each variant coming with an option between a manual and an automatic transmission (with a few exceptions here as well). They are:

  • MX Petrol Manual (5-seater only)
  • MX Petrol Automatic (5-seater only)
  • MX Diesel Manual (5-seater only, no automatic variant)
  • AX3 Petrol Manual 5-seater
  • AX3 Petrol Manual 7-seater
  • AX3 Petrol Automatic 5-seater (Automatic variant has no 7-seater option)
  • AX3 Diesel Manual 5-seater
  • AX3 Diesel Manual 7-seater
  • AX3 Diesel Automatic 5-seater
  • AX3 Diesel Automatic 7-seater
  • AX5 Petrol Manual 5-seater
  • AX5 Petrol Manual 7-seater
  • AX5 Petrol Automatic 5-seater (No 7-seater option)
  • AX5 Diesel Manual 5-seater
  • AX5 Diesel Manual 7-seater
  • Ax5 Diesel Automatic 5-seater
  • AX5 Diesel Automatic 7-seater
  • AX7 Petrol Manual 7-seater (further subdivision into C, L and T sub-variants)
  • AX7 Petrol Automatic 7-seater (further subdivision into C, L and T sub-variants)
  • AX7 Diesel Manual 7-seater (further subdivision into C, L and T sub-variants)
  • AX7 Diesel Automatic 7-seater (further subdivision into C, L and T sub-variants)
  • AX7 Diesel Automatic 7-seater with AWD

[C, L and T stand for Comfort, Luxury and Technology trims respectively]

The power output from the engines is also outstanding, with the petrol “MStallion” engine producing 200HP/380NM, while Mahindra’s own diesel “MHawk” engine producing 153HP/360NM (MX variant only), while for all other diesel variants the power out 185HP/420NM (Manual) and 185HP/450NM (Automatic).

The MX variant will be limited to being a 5-seater, while the top-of-the-line AX7 will be limited to a 7-seater only. Also, only the top-tier diesel AX7 automatic variant will be equipped with AWD. With a starting price of just Rs 11.99 lakh, this will surely be a car to look out for!
