Skoda has revealed the pricing for their hotly anticipated mid-size sedan, the Slavia’s launch happened back in November 2021 and pricing was awaited. Now, pricing for the 1.0L engine variants and not for the more powerful 1.5L engine which will also be available as an option. Though, it should be revealed in the near future.

The car is available with both a manual and an automatic transmission, though only on the mid-range and top-end Ambition and Style variants. The Slavia 1.0L is available in 3 variants- Active, Ambition and Style, and the price chart is as follows:

Slavia Active 1.0L TSI MT: Rs 10,69,000

The Slavia is priced quite competitively as compared to its main rivals in the form of the Honda City, Hyundai Verna and the VW Vento which could soon be axed in favour of the VW Virtus , a cousin car to the Slavia. Built on the made-for-India MQB-AO-IN platform, the Slavia is the car the company is pinning its hopes on to bring them to a market-leading position in the not so distant future. The MQB-AO-IN also underpins the soon to be revealed VW Virtus and also the compact SUV twins in the form of the VW Taigun and the Skoda Kushaq.

It must not be forgotten that the company is yet to reveal pricing for the 1.5L TSI, which will keep attention on the car for longer. Its cousin, the VW Virtus will be revealed on March 8th as well, and the anticipation is quite high for both of these cars. Let’s wait a few more days, for the prices of the 1.5L should also be revealed soon enough.
