Tata launches 4 new “Kaziranga” editions of their popular SUVs

These unique editions aim at promoting the diversity of the country's vast flora and fauna.

Tata Motors has launched 4 new versions of their popular SUVs, the Nexon, Safari, Punch and the Harrier. This edition is called the “Untamed Kaziranga Edition of SUVs”, more commonly called just the Kaziranga SUV.

The company has said that they want to honor the rich geographical and biological diversity of India’s flora and fauna through these cars, and these cars will be one of a kind. The Kaziranga is a one-horned rhino, and Tata says that naming these cars Kaziranga will promote the idea of these cars being a “Go Anywhere” type of car. The Punch Kaziranga will also be displayed at the IPL cricket tournament this year, and will be auctioned off to fans, the proceeds from which will go towards the efforts of conserving wildlife in the Kaziranga national park.

The cars will be set apart from their normal counterparts by a new “Grassland Beige” body colour and a dual-tone Piano Black roof. The interior will be adorned in an earthy beige and tropical wood colour scheme. Furthermore, the embossed outlined torso of two rhinoceroses facing each other on the front headrests, and along with it the addition of a new Satin Black Rhino Mascot on the front fender further promotes the “go anywhere” attitude. The Rhino is one of the most powerful and tough animals in the wild, and Tata seems to be doing them justice with these cars! Below is a feature list of all the cars available in the Kaziranga guide:
