Bentley reveals the one-off Bentayga “Space” edition

Inspired by the "Space Coast" in Florida, this bespoke Bentayga has been created by their Mulliner division.

Bentley of Orlando in the USA have made possibly one of the world’s most unique cars, the Bentayga Space edition! Built around the Speed variant of the Bentayga, the car has some special touches which have been custom-built around the wants and demands of a customer, and have been fulfilled thanks to Bentley’s in-house “Mulliner” design division doing the honours of designing it.

Power-wise it’s not enough to reach the moon, but maybe it would make it halfway there thanks to the 6.0L W12 engine which produces 625HP/900NM of power, which takes it from 0-100 in just 3.9 seconds! The unique design traits are seen both on the inside and outside, so let’s take you through them.

The exterior colour shade is Cypress, which is a dark green colour scheme with elements of grey as well. There are also orange flame accents on the exterior bodywork, which are supposed to mimick the trails left by comets as they travel through space. On the inside, the colour scheme is Beluga and Porpoise and the tread plates depict the planets of the solar system, and orange stiching and accents all around the cabin such as on the upholstery, steering wheel and gear shifter as well.

This has certainly not come cheap, as such a custom design and Mulliner getting involved would have most definitely have raised the price even further. How does this design look as per you? It will certainly not appeal to everyone’s tastes, though the only thing we can all agree on is that this design is certainly “out of this world”, right? Right? Time to show myself out the door…
