The facelifted Hyundai Venue has been launched in India, and prices start from 7.53 lakh INR. There are 3 engines on offer, and the interior has been spruced up with the exterior getting cosmetic updates as well- here’s a detailed list of what we will see in the new Venue.
On the outside, there’s a new grille inspired by the larger Palisade SUV, with an all-new grille that mimicks the Palisade’s and there are new split headlamps with DRLs as well. At the rear, the tail lights are connected to each other via an LED light strip. Both the front and rear bumpers have been updated, and the car now rides on updated 16″ alloys.
On the inside, the interior now has a new dual-tone look with a black and beige colour scheme, and a new novelty feature on the higher variants is reclining rear seats. There is also 4-way adjustable seats, air purifier, rear AC vents and more, but above all else is Hyundai’s updated and new BlueLink system which is now on an all-new 8″ touchscreen and has upwards of 60 connected car features built in, as well as Alexa and Google Assistant.
The 3 engines on offer are the same as the one on the outgoing version, i.e. a 1.2L petrol, a 1.0L turbo-petrol and a 1.5L diesel engine are the workhorses on the Venue. The pricing for each of the engines starts from 7.53 lakh INR for the base E variant in the 1.2L petrol engine, and goes upto 9.99 lakh INR for the mid-tier S+ variant in the 1.5L diesel variant. There is a 5 and 6-speed manual transmission on offer, as is a 6-speed iMT and a 7-speed DCT. Lastly, 6 airbags, ESC, Hill Hold, VSM and more come as standard on the Venue.
