Technology giant Qualcomm has paired up with Ferrari to bring the “tech shift” in a smooth manner for Ferrari, as the company looks toward the future in terms of electric power and better digital technologies. The connection will be seen on the F1 car as well, with Qualcomm’s brand, the popular chipset-making company Snapdragon being an official sponsor for the race team.
This is all the work of new Ferrari CEO Bendetto Vigna, who is a veteran in the tech industry. He had previously commented on Ferrari’s push towards cleaner and greener mobility, and with this announcement it seems that they have come to fruition.
We are pleased to announce a new and exciting partnership with @Qualcomm, as from today, the San Diego, California-based company, will be our Premium Partner through @Snapdragon.

“We believe innovation requires market leaders working together. Thanks to this agreement with Qualcomm Technologies, we expand our knowledge in digital technologies and web 3.0, areas with great potential for automotive and motorsport. We believe valuable partnerships, and a distinctive Ferrari interpretation, ultimately enhance product excellence.”
-Bendetto Vigna, CEO, Ferrari
“We are excited to see our automotive technology leadership play an integral role in this new strategic relationship with Ferrari. We look forward to helping shape what the future holds as we work together to bring world-class driving experiences to their customers through our Snapdragon Digital Chassis.”
-Cristiano Amon, CEO and President, Qualcomm
This merger of two giants in their respective industries could end up being a fruitful one, and their first project will be what they call a “digital cockpit” for Ferrari cars, and the two companies will combine their efforts to make the best possible tech solutions, right to Ferrari cockpits! With this, we can also expect to see a Snapdragon logo on the upcoming car reveal of the F1-75, whose growl is stunning- hear it by clicking here.
