Apart from the eKUV100, Mahindra showcased the Funster and eXUV300 concepts at the event as well. Upon launch in 2021, the eXUV300 will be available in two variants including Standard and Extended Range.
The eXUV300 debuts a new design language for Mahindra Electric, the differentiating factor from its ICE powered sibling is an aero grille, new alloy wheel designs and redesigned bumpers. Details regarding the price remain shut at the moment although, expect it to be priced at around the Rs 9 lakh range.
The Mahindra eXUV300 is powered by a battery developed by Mahindra Electric in association with LG Chem. It is a high-density lithium-ion battery pack which will theoretically return a range of 300km from a single charge. Once launched, the eXUV300 will be a direct rival to the Tata Nexon EV which has already been launched.
