Skoda’s “Modern Solid” design philosophy could potentially change the EV market in India
This is just a teaser for what is to come, as the company gears up for the future.
At their annual press conference, Skoda announced their vision for the future of their design ideology with the reveal of their new “Modern Solid” design philosophy. With it they also revealed a teaser for what we should expect, with a partially blurred out SUV with futuristic design cues being featured. What we see here is a design philosophy that could very well underpin an upcoming range of Skoda cars like the Enyaq or even an EV Fabia.
What we can see though is a large front bumper with the grille being covered up, and the bottom skid plate which has protective elements as well. The most visible features hidden behind the blurriness are the vertically-stacked DRLs and what seems to be a coupe-like body design indicating that Skoda is looking to make this upcoming car in the shape of an SUV-coupe, and also uniquely-shaped tail lights.
This car will supposedly set the foundation for Skoda’s future, and it’s highly possible that this could be an EV due to the blocked-off grille. It will reportedly sit below the Enyaq iV, and is currently just a concept with no fixed release date. Nothing else is known right now, so let’s just sit back and relax till Skoda gives us any more official updates on what this could be.
