Maruti Suzuki India Limited have officially launched the all new BS6 Ignis. Unveiled at the Auto Expo 2020, the all new IGNIS is powered by a 1.2 litre BS6 compliant petrol engine. It comes with both, a manual and an Auto Gear Shift (AGS) transmission options.
The new Ignis has an SUVish design with a bolder front fascia, wider rear appearance and a high seating position. This car is now also offered in a dual tone color option for the top 2 trims. The prices for dual tone IGNIS is Rs. 13,000/- above the corresponding variants.
Maruti Suzuki, as always, have played their game by pricing the car very aggressively. Owing to what the market is, pricing will play a crucial role. The Ignis now comes with advanced connected car features and more. Although, it still won’t come anywhere close to the safety standards of Tata Tiago.
