BREAKING! Haas confirm driver line-up for 2022
Mick Schumacher and Nikita Mazepin will continue on with Haas in 2022
Haas has confirmed that their current drivers Nikita Mazepin and Mick Schumacher will continue on with the team in 2022. It was an open secret that Mazepin would continue on, given how much his father has invested into the team, a similar situation to the one Lance Stroll had in 2017 and 2018. Although, how much of an investment Stroll has made and how good of a driver he is compared to Mazepin is a different topic altogether. Mick’s appointment was the one which had to be confirmed, as highly unlikely be it, some sources linked him with a move to Alfa.
The team will surely be hoping for a better 2022, considering how badly they’ve struggled in 2021. The car is simply incapable of doing anything, let alone scoring points. The team’s highest finish this year is 12th, courtesy of Mick, but even that result wouldn’t have come about if Bottas hadn’t torpedoed half the field out of contention on Lap 1.
“We’re confident we can move forward as a team and give Mick and Nikita a competitive race package to make the next step in their Formula 1 careers.”

Anyhow, this just leaves the one vacant seat at Alfa Romeo. Let’s just wish and hope for Haas to have a better 2022!
