Tata Punch pricing revealed; starts at a competitive ₹5.49 lakh

Competitive pricing mixed with a very good safety record will be sure to make this car a contender straightaway!

Tata has announced pricing for their G-NCAP 5-star rated Punch micro-SUV, with prices starting from ₹5.49 lakh and going upto ₹9.39 lakh. These prices are ex-showroom, and will only be valid till 31st December ’21. The car can be booked on Tata’s website for a fee of ₹21,000.

Tata Punch is powered by a single 1.2L petrol engine, with options for automatic or manual transmissions. Power output is also good with 86HP/113NM of power thrusting the car forward. Here’s the entire list of every available model and variant of the car:

Manual

  • Pure: Rs 5.49 lakh
  • Pure “Rhythm” Pack: Rs 5.84 lakh
  • Adventure: Rs 6.39 lakh
  • Adventure “Rhythm” Pack: Rs 6.74 lakh
  • Accomplished: Rs 7.29 lakh
  • Accomplished “Dazzle” Pack: Rs 7.74 lakh
  • Creative: Rs 8.49 lakh

  • Creative: Rs 9.09 lakh
  • Creative “Ira” Pack: Rs 9.39 lakh

The feature list for the car is quite impressive, with a whole host of features on offer. ABS+EBD is standard and so are Cruise Control and dual airbags. A segment-first “Brake Sway Control”, which prevents the car from swaying from the driving path if abrupt braking is detected.

On the inside as well, the car is quite kitted out. Two 7″ screens are present, one for the infotainment system and one for the digital instrument cluster. Push-button start, auto-fold mirrors, foglamps and keyless entry are all present as well.

The car can be booked by visiting Tata’s official site here, and I think this car has the capability to be a segment-changer and leader as well! Rivals in the form of the KUV100 and the Ignis will put up competition, but I feel like Tata has quite literally delivered a hefty punch to the rest of the competition with this car! It’ll be interesting to see how it plays out for Tata in the end.
