The facelifted and updated Macan has been launched in India, and prices start from Rs 83.21 lakh. This is the same version which was globally unveiled back in July, and oh boy does it look amazing! Though the changes may not be much, they will certainly revitalise sales for the car.
The grille and rear diffuser have been given a revamp, and the mirrors and headlights have also been changed. The wheel sizes have also been increased, and the chassis has also been optimized to provide better ride and improve overall stability. Porsche Active Suspension Management system (PASM) is present on the car as well.
The main changes, however are on the inside. A 10.9″ touchscreen which runs Porsche’s latest in-car entertainment system is present, and so is Apple Carplay. The interior stitching can be had in a number of colours, and the GTS version gets a few more gizmos like 18-way adjustable seats and lettering all over the interior.
The car’s power output has been increased, with the base model now having a 2.0L engine with an output of (265HP/400NM), the Macan S having (380HP/520NM) and the Macan GTS having an eye-watering 440HP while running the same 2.9L engine as the Macan S.
The car will give competition to the Range Rover Velar, Jaguar F-Pace, the Audi Q5 and similar in the Indian market.
