Citroen has taken the wraps off the facelifted C5 Aircross SUV, and has given the car a few minor new updates. This is the first mid-life update for the SUV, which made its global debut in 2018 and there is not a whole lot which has been altered, which is good as the existing model was well-received.
On the outside, the changes are mainly at the front of the car. The split-headlight setup has been changed into a single headlight one, with new DRL’s and an updated grille as well. The front bumper’s air intake has also been widened so as to give the car an even more SUV-like stance, and the new alloys are 18″ in size.
On the inside, there is a new 10″ touchscreen which sits free from the centre console, and the central AC vents have also been given a slight touch up. There is also a new center console altogether, along with a new gear lever, driving selection button and more.
The car will be powered by petrol, diesel and hybrid powertrain in international markets, though it’s assumed that the powertrain will remain the same as the current generation, which is a 2.0L diesel producing 174HP/200NM of power. There is no news or speculation as of yet for an India launch considering how the company launched the C5 just last year, and are gearing up to launch the C3 in full force as well.
