One of the most-anticipated upcoming MPVs, the Kia Carens will be officially launched in India on February 15th, with the pricing being unveiled on that very day. The Carens is effectively a 3-row Seltos, one of Kia’s best-selling models in India.
The Carens will come with 3 engine options and will have a total of 5 variants on offer- Premium, Prestige, Prestige Plus, Luxury and Luxury Plus, and will be available in either a 6 or 7-seat configuration. What is impressive is that the safety features of the car have been standardised across all variants, which sees 6 airbags standard across all 5 trims!
The expected price range is INR 12 lakh – 17 lakh and the car(ens) will rival the likes of other similarly-priced MPVs like the Maruti XL6 and Hyundai Alzacar.
