Tata Sierra EV could debut on 6th April!

This could be the rumoured comeback of the Sierra moniker which was expected to be under wraps for a few months.

Tata has released a cryptic tweet in which they are teasing the launch of their EV concept, which seems to be an SUV. They already have an EV SUV in the form of their popular Nexon EV, which was launched back in 2020 and has been at the forefront of being one of the best-selling EVs in the country.

The video teased an SUV body, with smooth edges and what looked to be a flowy design concept but which still looked sharp by nature. There is apparently a new platform which this will be built on, which means that their popular ALFA platform won’t be used here. The looks resemble what we saw in the Sierra concept which was rumoured back in January, though nothing was made visibly apparent.

The official reveal date is on 6th April, and hence just 2 days are left for the reveal. This cryptic method of teasing future concepts seems like it will become a trend, considering how Mahindra has also done the same for their upcoming concept designs. We just need to wait a few days for Tata’s concept though, so do stay tuned!
