The Kia EV6 is due for an India launch later this year, though unfortunately for Kia the brochure has leaked online early thanks to the folks over at TeamBHP, revealing key details and the spec sheet which reveals that there will be two variants on offer, namely GT Line which will be RWD and GT Line AWD which will of course, have AWD!
An important selling point of an electric car is the range, and Kia has certainly not skimped out with the EV6! There’s a 77.4kWh battery onboard, which has an estimated range of 528KM, and with the help of a fast charger it can be charged to have a range of 100km within less than 4.5 minutes!
A 0-100 time of just 3.5 seconds is also claimed by Kia. The RWD has a power output of 225HP/350NM while the dual-motor AWD version has a power output of 321HP/605NM. it will be available in 5 colours- namely Moonscape, Snow White Pearl, Runway Red, Aurora Black Pearl, and Yacht Blue.

The inside of the car is quite feature-rich to say the least! There’s a 14-speaker Meridian sound system on offer, two 12.3″ screens, an augmented HUD, automatic door handles, 10-way adjustable seats, LED headlamps and tail lamps, dual-zone climate control, paddle shifters, rain-sensing wipers, an electric sunroof, push to start functionality and much more. Phew!
On top of this, there are 8 airbags as standard, as is ABS, EBD, Hill Start Assist, Brake Assist, Vehicle Stability Management, front and rear parking sensors, Lane Keep Assist and much more which makes the car incredibly safe. The only thing not revealed in all this is the price, though we should get to know it in due course of time.
