A few well-known personalities in India own a McLaren, the latest of them being Bollywood actor Kartik Aaryan, who recently acquired the McLaren GT. McLaren had entered the Indian market last year with coupe models of the GT and the 720S. These models were sold as private imported units. Now, the British brand has decided to officially open a dealership in the country to attract customers even more.
Infinity Cars, the car dealer for McLaren in India will now open a dealership in Mumbai to cater to sales and aftersales services for all the models. Sources indicate that the range of models for India will be shared after the dealership opens towards the end of this year. These will include the new Artura, which is a Hybrid supercar, along with the coupe and spider variants of the 720S, GT and the 765LT.
