Aston Martin F1 will unveil their 2023 spec AMR23 on February 13th!
The Aston Martin Formula 1 team is the first one to have announced an unveil date for their 2023 spec car.
The Aston Martin F1 team will unveil their 2023 spec AMR23 car on the 13th of Feb 2023 becoming the first team to announce a launch date. The launch will be held at the team’s Silverstone base, where work is continuing on an all-new £200 million headquarters which is being touted to become the propeller to bring the team to the front of the grid and maybe one day, to fighting for championships.
With their signing of Fernando Alonso and having had an extremely enriching experience with a 4-time champion Vettel, the team seems to be moving in the right direction. Aston Martin have finished seventh in the constructors’ championship in the last two seasons, and will be hoping for a big step forward in 2023, especially with a host of new personnel bedding in at the team, including new Technical Director Dan Fallows, who was poached from Red Bull.
The AMR23 will be the first Aston Martin to be piloted by Fernando Alonso, with the two-time world champion joining the team for next year after two seasons at Alpine. Alonso will pair up with Canadian driver Lance Stroll whose father Lawrence Stroll owns and runs the Aston Martin team and he’s the one hoping that his £200 million investment comes to fruition.
