The Land Rover Range Rover Sport SVR Ultimate Edition (phew) is here, with a few visual tweaks giving the car a fresh new look. Land Rover’s own SV (Special Vehicle Operations) Bespoke team was tasked with kitting out the car in 3 new paint finishes and a new roof, and the car is complete with 22-inch wheels with black brake calipers.
The 3 new paint finishes are Gloss Maya Blue and Gloss Marl Grey, colours exclusive to the Ultimate Edition, and a more sinister Satin Ligurian Black. The blue and grey colours feature some highly reflective fine white glass flake particles in the base paint coat, giving the car a fantastic sparkle. All the colour combinations have a gloss Narvik black contrast roof as standard.
The interior has been given a massive glow-up, with specially commissioned chrome-finished SV Bespoke B-pillar badges, black anodised metal gearshift paddles and some special Ultimate edition illuminated tread-plates all being fitted into the car, and being unique to the Ultimate edition. Also unique are the SVR-embossed lightweight Performance Seats, draped in Windsor leather with a contrasting Suedecloth. The SVR logo is also seen at multiple places the cabin, giving the car a very stand-out interior.
Under the hood, the monstrous 575hp 5.0L V8 engine has remained unchanged, with a 0-100 speed of just 4.5 seconds and a top speed of 280km/h making it the most powerful SUV currently in Land Rover’s lineup. It is a tad bit expensive though, sitting at an eye-watering £123,900, and the official launch is scheduled between September 1-5 at Land Rover’s own Special Vehicle Operations stand at Salon Privé, Blenheim Palace in the UK. Though just visual upgrades have been added to the car, it’s still bound to be a fantastic purchase for Land Rover fans!
