Škoda celebrates the sale of 10,000 units of the Kushaq
The Czech carmaker has achieved a milestone 10,000 units sold for the Kushaq.
Gratulujeme, Škoda! The Czech carmaker has achieved a milestone 10,000 units sold for their mid-size SUV, the Kushaq. The SUV single-handedly leads the way in terms of Škoda’s monthly Indian sales, at around the same time that the company celebrates 20 years in India- a wonderous feat!
Škoda faced many issues in India during the COVID pandemic, being unable to supply at the required volume. However, the company has managed to bounce back with the Kushaq, which they say is a car made with the consumer in mind, and that it is a matter of pride for them to see the car selling so well in the Indian market.
This remarkable sales feat has prompted the company to equip both of the Style variants of the Kushaq (1.0L and 1.5L) with 6 airbags, and a Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS), at a cost of ₹40,000. With this, let’s hope that Škoda can achieve similar success in India more often!
