Lexus has launched the 2021 ES in India, which is just a mid-life facelift for the car. The exterior has remained the same, and the only actual changes are on the inside, with a fresh interior. Lexus has retained most features from the existing ES, such as the engine, which produces 214HP/221NM.
On the outside, the car gets two new paint shades in the form of Sonic Chrome and Sonic Eridium. The headlights and the wheels have been given an upgrade, though the main changes are on the inside. It’s nice to see that the spindle-like design grille has been left untouched!
The interior has new features like reclining and ventilated seats, a new 12.3″ infotainment system, a sunroof and a 17-speaker Mark Levinson system. There will be 2 variants available, namely the Exquisite and Luxury. Rivals will be the E-class, 5-series and A6, and I think it’s a good mid-life update for the car, which should help boost sales!
