Ford Motor Company CEO, Jim Farley took to Twitter to share the exciting news of the reveal of the new generation of the iconic American Muscle. The date is set for September 14 at the North American International Auto Show, held at Detroit.
Excited to confirm that we’ll unveil the all-new, seventh-generation @FordMustang September 14 at the Detroit Auto Show. It’s a stunning car and I’m excited to share it with the world! 🐎 #SaveTheManuals pic.twitter.com/d2kdQioBWY

At present, no specific details regarding the new car has been made available, but the CEO’s tweet does confirm a manual transmission, most probably a 6-speed one. It is also safe to assume that the muscle car would also carry a big 5L V8, just like its predecessors. But we surely do expect a bit more oomph!
Few spy shots were also revealed a couple of months back, as the car was undergoing high-altitude tests. The exterior design seemed a bit sharper than the present one, but the rear is distinguishably similar. There is no official news of the launch of the car, but it is expected to go on sale in the second half of next year. Image credits thanks to TFLnow.
