Maruti Suzuki India announced the launch of the sports counterpart, Ciaz-S, of the best selling mid-size premium sedan, Ciaz. It is based and built on the top variant Alpha and the values of Nexa’s “Create. Inspire”. The Ciaz-S comes with enhanced interiors along with elegantly sporty exteriors. The model will be launched in three different colors: Premium Silver, Pearl Snow White, and Sangria Red.
Mr. Shashank Srivastava, the Executive Director (Sales and Marketing, of Maruti Suzuki India, said, “Ciaz since its launch in 2014, has been the most popular mid-size sedan and has witnessed consistent growth”. He added that there are over 2.7 lakh customers who are happy with the Ciaz and has a record of 29% market share in its category.
The Ciaz became a customer favorite owing to its smooth performance coupled with classy exterior and interior. And, while the build quality may not be at par with its rivals, the price smoothens the deal. But, the customer base of the Ciaz had been looking forward to a sporty version of the model and Maruti Suzuki India did just that! It is highly expected that the customers will appreciate the sporty attire that the company added to the premium mid-size sedan to address the customers who desired “the good life”.
The Ciaz-S comes with an intense black accentuation on both the side and rear (under the trunk lid and body spoiler) along with a signature sporty exterior of dual-tone. The dual-tone theme has been further made prominent with multi-spoke 16-inch wheels of alloy paired with a dark finish. There are the front fog lamp garnish and the ORVM cover.
Coming to the interiors of the Ciaz-S, it has a similar sporty look as the exterior. The interior has silver accents on door trims, black interior, and an interior panel which enhances the sporty was of the midsize premium sedan.
The Ciaz S is priced at 10.08 lakhs ex-showroom, Delhi and this is the cherry on top. The looks, performance, practicality and now, price too! The Maruti Ciaz recently completed five successful years since it’s launch. Not only have the expectations of the Indian customers been met, but it also offered a package of safety, comfort, technology, and space. No wonder it became a customer favorite!
