Confirmed! Updated Tata Harrier getting electric seats, auto IRVM and possibly 170HP!

Tata has released more teasers revealing new features added to the Harrier. And boy! Its like they made a list of what the consumers demanded.

[dropcap]T[/dropcap]ata Motors has been on a roll lately and that too, quite literally. As we had earlier reported that the Harrier will soon get a sunroof, an automatic transmission and a 4×4 system, we finally have confirmation of two more features. The Harrier will now get electrically adjustable seats (finally) with maybe even a memory function and an auto-dimming IRVM. So, things will no more be awkward now since, it seemed odd to be using manual levers to adjust the seats and the IRVM in a Rs. 22 lakh car.

Moreover, this new teaser by Tata Motors also gives a hint of an engine tuning upgrade. The Harrier currently uses a de-tuned version of FCA’s engine which is found in the Compass. It produces 140HP and 350NM of torque as against the Compass’ 173HP with the same 350NM of torque. Now though, it seems Tata will bring the fully powered Fiat engine to the Harrier producing 173HP! Tata Motors quotes in the teaser video “Epitome of power” and we wonder what could that mean!
