Maruti Suzuki has big plans for Auto Expo 2020

Maruti Suzuki India is gearing up to display a bouquet of new technologies, models and concepts at the upcoming Auto Expo 2020. The company has made enormous strides in hybrid and CNG vehicles. The company has further plans for strengthening its performance in the field of green sustainable mobility. What better way to showcase these initiatives, new vehicles, and designs than the biggest automotive event in India?

The Managing Director and CEO of Maruti Suzuki India, Mr. Kenichi Ayukawa, said: “The key highlight for the 15th edition of the Auto Expo is our resolve to bring greener technologies for mass adoption”. There’s no denial that Maruti Suzuki is a company that brings forward technologies that truly benefit the customers. However, taking it one step further, at the Auto Expo 2020 the company plans to bring forth an extraordinary display of vehicles. This array of vehicles is a result of the efforts put by the company to showcase their commitment towards the environment, customers, and the Indian market.

Mr. Ayukawa added, “Maruti Suzuki’s theme ‘Mission Green Million’, at the Auto Expo is in line without commitment to introduce newer, greener, and customer-friendly technologies for the Indian customers.” Maruti Suzuki has already successfully introduced various technologies such as S-CNG, Smart Hybrid, Auto Gear Shift, and SmartPlay. Next, the company is committed to bringing newer technologies that will further convenience the customers! It’s brilliant how Maruti Suzuki has always come forward to make sure the consumers of the Indian market get the best of the best technologies.

Like all car enthusiasts already know, the Maruti Suzuki pavilion at Auto Expo is a major attraction for visitors. Therefore, the company has very graciously come up with a magnificent display at the 2020 show:

Concept FUTURO-e

This is a concept that has been designed by the Maruti Suzuki Team. The aim is to bring a fresh design perspective to the Indian market via the futuristic electric coupe-style concept! We are positive once this model is developed, it’ll make heads turn like never before.

Vitara Brezza

Vitara Brezza made its debut at the Auto Expo of 2016 and since then has become a customer favorite. Now, at the Auto Expo 2020, we will see the model with a fresher look and the BS-6 petrol engine. This model will be setting the tone of sportiness and glamour at the pavilion!

All New IGNIS

The new IGNIS will be redefining the segment of premium-compact SUVs. There will be a presentation of upgraded smart design and intensified toughness. It will definitely be appealing to consumers with the excellent exterior design, the spacious cabin, and the finest technology.

The above being the standout models, the company plans to display a total of 17 vehicles at the Expo. The models included are S-Presso, Celerio, Swift, WagonR, Baleno, Dzire, S-Cross, Baleno, Ciaz-Z, Ertiga, XL6, and the Japanese model Swift Hybrid.

Now, we know how much Maruti Suzuki truly values its mission and vision. Therefore, first off the pavilion for Maruti Suzuki will reflect the successful collaboration of Japan and India. It is spread out over 4000sqmt and is divided into 4 zones. In fact, it is conceptualised on the famous Japanese origami art with distinct fold-in fold-our structures. The aim of the design is to represent a blend of two cultures, intelligence, and technologies in perfect balance.

Additionally, there will be 5 pop-ups that will incorporate the unique characteristics of the planned display. Each pop-up’s gate will have origami art inspired LED structural display to convey the displayed car’s brand story to the visitors. Finally, to show their commitment towards becoming more environment-friendly, the entire pavilion will be digital and paperless.

Finally, there will be an inhouse studio at the Maruti Suzuki pavilion for the first time at the Auto Expo 2020. This will help millions of viewers online to connect to the showcase on a real-time basis. All viewers globally will be able to witness and be part of the numerous discussions which will take place at the week-long expo.
