Audi’s luxurious A8 Horch Edition is here!
It will be a very luxurious variant which will likely rival the Maybach. But, it's mostly only for China.
Audi saw that Mercedes’ Maybach name was doing decently well, and so they’ve decided to jump in those extra-luxurious waters as well! The rear seats have a few extra goodies and new luxurious features, and the car has some external subtle design cues and differences as well.
The Horch name comes from one of Audi’s original founders, August Horch, and logos for the same are put all around the car on the seats, the headrest pillows and more as well. The main improvements, however are in the rear seats, which sees new upholstery, power seat adjustments, a massage system, a climate control screen, and also new entertainment screens.
Engine details haven’t been shared as of yet, though it’s likely the car will have a 4L V8 or a possible hybrid powertrain. More details should come into the light once the car is displayed and more specs revealed at the Guangzhou auto show which is to be held later this month.
