The new Ford Everest (Endeavour) has been spied testing; coming to global markets sometime next year

The car has been spied testing on many occasions, and a recent spy shot has peaked interest in the car even more.

The new Ford Endeavour (Everest) has been spied testing in Thailand, and some immediately obvious design cues can be seen from it. As was the case from speculation, the car will share many of it’s basic design cues with the Ranger, and the F-150 Raptor as well.

Despite the camo, some immediate design cues were evident. For starters, the front fascia has been reworked, and new C-shape headlights are on display. A wide grille is also seen, as are new foglamps.

The bonnet is smooth and flat, and the car retains the same bulky and somewhat muscular body shape as before, giving the car the same appeal as it did for the previous generations. Visually, the car looks quite a fair bit larger than it’s predecessor, and no clear images of the rear are available.

Ford is expected to bring changes under the bonnet as well, with the 2.0L twin-turbo EcoBlue diesel becing carried over from the current model, and a new 3.0L V6 also possibly joining in. The gearbox is expected to be a 10-speed automatic, though it is not officially confirmed by the company yet.

As for the car making it’s way to India, it’s a bit unlikely, given how the company has left India altogether! There are plans to keep importing CBU’s to the country, though it seems like it would be out of reach for the average buyer. More news and details should follow from Ford over time, so let’s see what comes of it!
