The 2023 Audi Q9 has been spied testing sans some camouflage

Supposedly being developed exclusively for China, the Q9 looks bold, and of course big!

The Audi SUv believed to be exclusively made for the Chinese market, the Audi Q9 has been spied testing in its production body shell. The Q9 is Audi’s largest SUV, and was spied earlier as well testing at the Nurburgring a few months ago.

These images show that some of the camo around the headlamps has been removed, and gives a slightly better view of the car’s aesthetic, though only just. For the most part the front and rear is covered in camo, so no definitive conclusions can be made, though a few things are slightly more clear from these images.

Something which is immediately obvious is that the grille is well separated from the hood, though this could change in future iterations. On the rear, the tail lights seem to be the traditional Audi style of tail lights with vertical LED lightbars. The car is also visually massive, and looks to be based on a platform not too dissimilar to the VW Atlas sold abroad.

Not a lot more can be ascertained from these pictures, though we can be sure that the amount of testing will be ramped up some more and the car could be globally unveiled soon as well. Let’s just wait and see what comes of it!
