The 2022 Ertiga facelift has been spied! Minor changes across the board
Will retain the same engine and body structure, and will only get a minor few cosmetic changes.
One of the most popular MPV’s in the country, the Maruti Ertiga will see a minor cosmetic facelift being released sometime next year. This is being done in a bid to keep the car fresh and relevant, and also to rejuvenate demand for the car. And thanks to the folks at GaadiWaadi, we know have some spy shots.
The only visible change seemed to be the grille, which indicates that Maruti isn’t risking changing much in terms of the design of the car, one which people are quite used to by now. This would be the reason as to why the rest of the car looks pretty much the same as the one currently running on the roads, such as the headlamps, bumpers, etc.
Power-wise the car will carry on with the existing engine, i.e. the 1.4L K15B Smart engine which has a power output of 103HP/138NM paired with a 5-speed manual or 4-speed automatic depending upon the variant. There could also be a host of changes on the inside, with possible changes to the infotainment system, seating upholstery, dashboard upholstery and similar, though we will have to wait and see what come out of it!
