A new Toyota Innova has been spied!
What looks to be the new rendition of the ever-popular Innova has been spied testing on the roads of Thailand by car spies!
The Innova is a car almost every Indian knows, for it is one of the most popular MPVs and people carriers which has served the country for almost two decades! The current Innova sold in the country is an aging one, having been sold under the “Innova Crysta” badge since 2016, and needs a generational upgrade.
As is obvious, not a lot can be made out from these pictures though a few things can be ascertained. For starters, this new Innova could be built on the TNGA platform as opposed to the current model’s IMV platform in pursuit of more comfort.
It is also expected that the new Innova will have some sort of mild-hybrid technology onboard for efficiency and a bit of extra power, and also to appease the new push for green regulations and greener, more efficient cars. What is also certain is that the new Innova will be launched with Thailand, Indonesia and India as the primary markets.
And as of right now that’s all we know about what could be the new Innova. A possible launch window is for sometime next year, and no prices are known as of right now. Image credits go to Instragam user by the name of Indra Fathan.
